Proof that it is yours.
Counterfeits reach your customers looking exactly like the real thing. Platemark puts a sealed mark inside your packaging, so a tap of a phone gives a straight answer.

The problem
A good fake is not meant to look like a fake.
A counterfeit is built to be indistinguishable at the moment of sale. The box is right. The weight is right. The seal looks untouched.
Your customer finds out afterwards — or never finds out, and simply decides the product is not what it used to be.
The cost does not land on the counterfeiter. It lands on your name.

How it works
Three steps, and nothing for your customer to learn.

Embed
A secure chip is embedded in your packaging — inside the box, under the label, part of the object rather than printed on it.

Tap
Your customer holds their phone to it. No app to install, no account to create, nothing to scan.

Know
They get a straight answer about what they are holding. You see every check as it happens.
What the brand gets
Four things you did not have before.
A verification page under your own brand
What your customer sees is yours — your name, your type, your words. Not a third party’s badge.
Visibility of where your products are checked
Every verification is a signal about where your goods actually travel, and who is holding them.
An alert when a copy appears
If a copy of one of your marks turns up in circulation, you hear it from us.
A record you can act on
Checks are kept as a record you can hand to your legal team, a distributor, or a marketplace.
Why it holds up
No one can issue a mark for your products. Including us.
Each brand’s mark is cryptographically unique to that brand. The keys behind them are held so that no one can issue a valid mark for your products — not a distributor, not a manufacturer, and not us.
Your brand’s data is isolated from every other brand’s. We do not pool it, sell it, or use it to build anything else.
We do not publish how any of this is built. That is deliberate: the detail would be most useful to the people we exist to stop.

The name
Made for the people who care about detail.
A platemark is the ridge an intaglio plate presses into the paper around an engraving. For four centuries it is how you tell a genuine impression from a reproduction — not by the picture, but by the mark the plate leaves behind.
We took the name because the job has not changed.
